SANDRA HUESKE

I was born and and raised in a small town in South-West Germany, but set out to the United States in 2003 for the first time. I got married in 2005 to my best friend Jeremiah and have two toddlers that keep me very busy. I have lived most recently in Colorado, but also called the Bay Area in CA, NY and Berlin (Germany) my home. We live now on the beautiful island of O'ahu (Honolulu) and love creating memories by the ocean. I love travelling, exploring the arts and design, I enjoy baking and Elephants are my favorite animal. By trade I am a paralegal, but I studied graphic design and international business before graduating in 2009 with a Masters Degree in Architecture. After working a few years for various larger and international firms, I longed to have a greater work-life balance, to focus on my family, and being my creative self. Photography has always been a way for me to express myself creatively, so I decided to take my long time hobby of to the next level. 

Everyone has a story and a journey. Life happens and time goes by so quickly. With my work I am anticipating to capture the precious moments in life, to document (your) history. Whatever chapter of life encompasses you, I would be honored to capture a special moment for you.

Growing up, and still today, I love reminiscing, retelling old stories and refreshing people's memories by looking at old images. 'I am so glad I took this picture' is something I have heard more times than I can recount. The stories and memories can be passed on to loved ones and even the next generations.
